I recently had my grand kids over. My daughter and grand daughter were playing a game together. The little guy got frustrated as he wanted to play too. My husband started to play a game with him, but he wanted to play a game with me. So, I quickly zipped this game off for him. It needed to be something simple as he is only 3 years old. It only took 10- 15 minutes to make. I love how easy it is to come up with something with the Cricut!
I picked out the images. I used the Cricut markers to draw everything first. I then went back and cut out the cards. Using the Gypsy I had one page with the cards and images and the second only with the cards. I didn't want the cards to be dimensional as they were to be his own special cards!
I then colored them very simply with Copic Markers. Any markers or crayons would work.
I then cut out the card backs out of design paper. He's not old enough to remember which designs go with which picture! If you make them for older children, this is a thing to remember. You would also want more cards than I made.
His big sister thought it looked like fun and quit playing the other game to come and play. Then my daughter wanted to play, but it was too simple. So, I took the cards and hid them all over the room. They had to look at a card, leave it where it was and then go and find its match. Only then could they have the pair. They really enjoyed that!

Dog Parade
My daughter is in a dog parade tomorrow to raise funds for the local Animal Protection Society. Here is the layout that I will be using for the pictures. I'll spruce it up a bit when the pictures are done. I think it needs a little tweaking still. I'll update the photo when it is done. I used several carts for this one including my brand new Elegant Edges!
Fly A Kite
Made another quick card for the Blogiversary. This one was made from Best Friends. I used the cuttlebug on both of the green and brown layers. I am having fun with my Imagine. It's so nice to have it working!!!
My Cup of Tea!
This card is truly my cup of tea! It only took moments to make it. My replacement Imagine came and it works really well so far! It really is a great machine! I'm really enjoying playing with it! This card was made with Kate's Kitchen for the images and Ancestry for the background paper. It is popped up and glittered, which you can not see here. I have to say, I am really feeling guilty about how quickly these cards are coming together! BUT!!! It's so much fun!!! Kate's Kitchen is such a cute cart!

More Blogiversary Entries!
I made these two cards for the Cricut Circle Blogiversary. The winners are selected by random, but my feeling is if you don't enter, you can't win! I found these cards so easy to make I felt like I was cheating! I used Sophie for the snowflakes and the snowflake card. I used Accent Essentials for the circles and the label. I just used my Gypsy to stretch it and flatten it out. What a great tool! The white card had been sent through the Cuttlebug to add texture. The snowman is from "Magical" from CTMH. I added glitter for a little pizazz, a bit of bling and voila! they were done! I have to admit, I have never used a card feature on a cart before! Oh my gosh, who knew how easy that made it to make a card?! lol!
If you see the bottom card in more than one place in the contests its because I got lost and couldn't remember what I was doing! Ugh! I was struggling to get my photos up and I ended up putting the bottom one in two places by mistake! Did you know that once you post an image you can't take it back? Well, I tried, but no such luck! Then to top it all off, I put the monochromatic snowman and the blue card in the wrong places! lol! Ever have one of those days?

Welcome Back to the Patch!
I made this card for my mother-in-law. She has been away for weeks caring for her brother and his wife. She is getting home sick and hopes to be back by the end of the month. There are 3 pumpkings of different sizes to represent the three of us. She knows Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love the bright colors!
It is also for the Cricut Circle Blogiversary.
I was surprised when I realized that I used so many carts to make this! I used Sophie for the purple mat, October 31 for the web, Hello Kitty Greetings for the spider, Pumpkin Carving and Doodlecharms for the pumpkins. I cut and then used a glitter pen to outline the web and the mat. It looks pretty cool IRL in that it adds more dimension and interest. I used my Cuttlebug to add the texture to the pumpkins and then added some ink to the raised portion to give them even more detail. The pumpkin in the front is pop-dotted to raise it up, but you can not tell that here.
Many more carts used in my mission to use them all!

Halloween Cricut Cut Swap
I made these spooky chicks using Mini Monsters for the Canadian Cricut Circle Halloween swap. You can find it here: Halloween Cricut Cut Swap
This witch reminds me of those old spooky shows of a zillion years ago where the hair was sprayed up like that in black with a white stripe.
I noticed after I took the picture that the little kitty on the end lost his eyeball. Not to fear! Glue is here! Ha ha ha! He is repaired and all is well.
