Some K & Co paper and trim. The tag was made from a Stampin' Up punch and a Sizzix tag sizzlit. They make about 4 different tags each. Quick and simple.

Penny Black Birthday Card
I have begun my mission to ensure everyone has a Birthday card this year! I make cards for everyone in the office and try to get them out to others as well.
I used my Silhouette to cut out the scalloped circles. You can also use your Cricut or Spell binders. I just happened to be playing with the silhouette. I then layered the circles and cut off the edge. I then added the punched pieces from the corner piece (E K Success) onto the edge of the circles. The edges of the paper were distressed. I tend to use the CTMH one that I bought some time ago. It still works great, so I keep using it! The little girl was colored with copics and her dress was cut out of the background paper and layered for more dimension. The flowers are from K&Co and the leaves are cut with my Cricut. I always mass produce these beauties. I love them! Some prima flowers, and bling. The twine was colored using a marker as I didn't have anything in the color I wanted. Thank God for markers and ink pads! I used Tim Holtz tiny attacher to add a more rustic look.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Chunky Charm and Gift Box
I made this chunky charm for my sister. She has fallen in love with these things, but has ZERO desire to do them herself. I miss the swaps on the Cricut site! I had so much fun!
I made the box using my Silhouette and the image from their store. I suggest you go to the 3under3andmore blog to get the instructions. I thought I had it all together and then saw it didn't fit. Oops! Should always check instructions.
I like the idea of buying individual images, but I don't like the way the Silhouette studio has clumped them all onto one mat. It makes it harder to work with, as you don't always know what is what. I'm fairly new to all of this Silhouette stuff so it will take some time. It would be awesome if we could have layers. I suppose it might be more difficult to do it that way, but I truly have no idea. I love all of the 3d stuff that they have. When they have sales, you can sometimes get the images for 50c! I digress again.
I love the little guy on the right hand side that I made with beads. My daughter said, "He rocks!" Ha! The charm is super chunky and fills most of my hand. It does fit in the box below that I made to hold it.
One of my many 50 cent purchases! The lid of the chimney comes off to reveal the charm. I think next time I make this, I'm going to get some "smoke" for the chimney. I think that would be a nice added touch.
Have a wonderful day!

Happy New Year!
Wow, where did the year go? Are you, like the rest of us, planning to make things better for you and your loved ones this year? I hope to. I'm working on how not to spend money, including clipping coupons and buying less (or no) craft supplies *eek*!; be more creative with things I own, organizing my things and purge, purge purge! My craft supplies are equal to that of a small scrapbook store. When is enough enough? I love it all and could certainly fit more in here! lol! I have given away literally hundreds and hundreds of dollars in supplies to local schools and day cares. I have begun to realize who I am and what I truly like, not what everyone else says I should like. That in itself has taken a long time to manage to discover! I hope you will join me on my journey to clean, concise and purposeful living and crafting!
Here is a quick, clean and simple card I made for our neighbors. Yep, I made it after New Years as we have been very sick here and missed all of the holidays. We will be sending over a delicious eggnog cake to go with it. This will help them bring in the new year.
I used my Cricut with this one and CM Divine Wedding and MS Seasonal. Papers: DCWV and Stampin' Up.
Have a prosperous journey into a new you!
