A Christmas Card

I hope you all are doing well!  Life has flipped itself upside down here and I feel like the blood is rushing to my head!  lol!  

I made this Christmas card for a family member (It's posted on the Cricut  FANatics blog).  It was quick and simple.  I used one cart:  Christmas Cheer for the sleigh and trees.  A little flock to them both and they were done.  It was a super easy card to do.  It so reminded me of days when families used to go to the woods and pick out their own trees.  I don't live close enough to the woods to do this, but I sure wish I did!

I hope to get a video up of a bunch of quick cards I made using a bunch of stickers that I have had forever!  They turned out so nice.  Since getting my Cricut, I find I rarely use them any more and hence, had a huge pile of them!  Trying to economize, reduce, reuse... blah, blah blah!  You know the story.  lol!

Winter Wall Hanging

I made this for the CricutFANatics blog.   It's been snowy and chilly here so this will be a fun reminder that just because it is cold outside doesn't mean we can't stay warm and cozy inside.

I started with a simple canvas that I purchased from the dollar store.  Guess what it cost me?  Ha, ha!  I painted it with Gesso so that it would be a solid white and if I wanted to add paint over it, it would be a good foundation for it.  I later decided not to paint it.

I then chose my image to put in the back ground.  I chose winter trees from the Holiday Cakes cartridge.  I wanted a simple design that I could repeat in different values of green.

I was more concerned with the tips of the trees being whole at the top of the image, so I allowed the stems to hang over the edge.  I later trimmed them off.    I then used Ultra Podge to glue them down.  I used a good, juicy layer on the canvas, but only one level of tree at a time.  If you cover the whole canvas at one time, it may not remain sticky enough to secure the papers down well.  You can use mod podge, deco page... any of those type of things work well.  I did not wait for it to try on the bottom before I covered the images with a layer to seal them.  

The rest was simple.  I cut out the house from Pop-Up Neighborhood, and the snowmen and saying from Winter Woodland.  I cut out pieces of lace and tucked them under the windows for drapes.  (That is why they look puffy!)  I fashioned a fancy metal embellishment with red bling to make the upper "attic" window.   I added shiny white twin around the brown "facia".  I used slick (sort of like stickles, but without glitter) to make snow.  I then added glitter.  The slick has been kicking around for a long time and needs to be used!

The snowmen were embellished with buttons and pearls.  I added teenie, tiny little pearls all over the picture to mimic snow.  I just found these at CTMH.  Wow, are they tiny and a really good price!  The flower and brown roofs were sent through the Sizzix using different Cuttle bug folders.  All of the edges of the house were distressed with walnut ink.  I added stickles to the words to give them sheen, without added bulk and to soften the colors.  I added one of the papers along the outer edges to cover the staples, then fancy ribbon over that to make the edges look nice.

I made this for my boss's daughter.  I was looking for a pumpkin, but right now they are not on sale and I really wanted to make fresh pies!  She offered to give me one.  It was also made for a challenge on the Cricut Circle Canadian Members board.  You do no have to be Canadian to do it!!!

Thinking of You

I recently lost a client.  It was quite sad.  I made this card for his wife.  It is following a sketch on the Cricut Circle - Canadian Members Swarm.  Anyone in the Circle can participate.  I like their rules, they are quite relaxed!

It went together quite quickly.  Sketches make work quite easy!   I used Heritage cartridge for the charm.  I enjoy looking for hidden treasures on carts.  I try to use different carts as often as possible.  I love the butterfly image.  It looks like a Martha Stewart type butterfly, but since it's out of its package, I'm not sure if it is.  I was trying to make more space in my craft room and took almost all of my stamps out of their packages and put them in  binders.  It works great for space, not so good for knowing who makes the stamps!  lol!

I wish I had better photos.  The butterfly has glitter that make the wings very elegant and airy looking - but you can't see it.  The brad in the center of the charm in a gorgeous Teresa Collins brad - but you can't see its details either!  Oh well, you get the general idea anyway!

Tickets

I have joined a ticket swap on the regular Cricut message board.  These are the tickets I made.  I used the Tim Holtz ticket strip to make them.  I used Inkadinkado stamps for all of the images.   The coloring took a lot of time, but they are relatively fast and fun.  The spider's body is a large rhinestone.  You can't really tell that in the photo.

Once I made these I thought surely I could do these on my Cricut.  Yep, I can!  I have a couple of carts with tickets on them.  The one that is exactly like the TH ones I do not own:  Wall Decor.  I can't tell you how many times I have gone to use that cart only to find I don't own it!  (My sister owns it, not me!) Ugh!  I will need to add it to my want list.

So here are the tickets I made using my Gypsy and Expression.  If you want them to be in one continuous strip like the TH die, you need to use the Gypsy to weld them together. 

Oooo, see how dark the tickets I made in the center are?  That is much closer to the real colors!

The tickets on the top are made from Fabulous Finds.  You would need to use a piercer, a perforator or will need to score them to make them fold properly.  The lower ones I made from Mickey Font.  Yes, a font cart!  There are always so many hidden treasures on a cart!  I think both of them make great tickets.   

So, if you want to make the TH tickets to use on your projects or if you want to join a swap you can do it using your Cricut!  Oh, and invite me to join!  lol!

Cogsworth

My husband asked if I would make a thank you card for his uncle Bob.  His uncle Bob gave him one of  his grandfather's pocket watches.  My husband was very pleased to receive the watch.  A great reminder of his grandfather!

So, I went to My Cut Search to look for pocket watch.  There were, I think two images that showed up.   So I looked up clock.  Cogsworth showed up.  I love his humble expression!  I do love Disney images, but fun, they are not!  Cogsworth was cut at 5".  Any smaller than 5" is just too darn difficult to do.

The pocket watch is an old Spellbinder's die that I haven't used in ages.  I used Core'dination paper for the white core so I could sand it and have the numbers show up.  I stamped "thanks" in the middle of the watch, I versa marked and then embossed the watch.  I then added some rub-n-buff that I got in a swap.  I added some chain and a cog.  The cog is what is on the inside of tape runners.  I had one that fell apart near the end of it's life and I tore out the little pieces and used one here.

I found a pot button and took wire for stems and some Prima flowers, and added bling. 

I like to use images in different ways.  A grown man may have laughed  if I had said I'd make him a Cogswell card because it is a kid's image.  I don't find the card juvenile at all.  I think the card turned out quite masculine!  I'm sure he will be grateful to receive it.  Very thoughtful of my husband!

MME

I recently purchased this MME Lost & Found 2 paper, a label and then some of their washi tape.  I love, love love washi tape!  I used some October Afternoon and Tim Holtz stickers.   The orange rose is from Prima and the fragment is also from Tim Holtz.  I added a few extra pearl flowers.  It went together quickly.  That's always appreciated! 

TCDream

I just got the Everyday Moments 6x6 paper pack from Teresa Collins yesterday.  I just love this paper and couldn't wait to make something with it!

I had no purpose or plan, I just wanted to use this gorgeous paper!

I used a corner rounder to round the edges of the main mat.  I cut the fancy mat from Elegant Edges.  For the bee I used Home Decore - and added glitter.  For the flower I used  Mother's Day Bouquet.  I used a popsicle stick put the flowers on the mat and "drew" a line down the center to create the veins in the middle of the petals.  I then added a large yelow brad, and the stem from Kate's ABCs.

I added some word stickers, an October Afternoon sticker and ribbon,  7Gypsy's fabric tape under the main mat.  I added bling and outlined the fancy mat with faux stitching.  

Oh, how I wish I had a decent camera and skills to use it so you could see the colors well!

Fall Charm Swap

I made these for the Fall charm swap on the Cricut RAK & SWAP board.  We always make a tag, so I really think we should call it a tag and charm swap!  Half of the time it's just so fun to see what the tags look like!

 I used Simply Charmed for the scarecrow, Happy Hauntings for the cat, Every Day Pop Up for the fence and Happily Ever After for the Pumpkin.  I don't remember which cart I used to make the tag.  I have one I change the shape of all of the time to suit my needs, love that about the Cricut!  Papers are still from Making Memories and Stampin' Up!  I used an punch to cut the scallop border as it was sort of an after thought.

I made the "witch", pumpkin and cat.  The witch is made from different beads.  The pumpkin is made from Sculpey Clay, baked and glazed.  The cat is made from Poly Shrink.  That cat cost me a lot of shrink!  Wow, it was a tricky little guy to do!  I think he's great though!

Keep your eyes open as later this month I plan to give away a bunch of Making Memories papers that I bought, including some of the ones you have seen me use here.  Some I haven't opened yet!

Honey Bunny

I made this card for my husband for our anniversary.  He was convinced that there was no way there was an image on a Cricut cart that looked like that!  He thought it was very suggestive.  (hehehe, that was the point!  lol!)  Well, there is in shape, just not with that attitude!  He really like the card. 

I used Campin Critters to cut the bunny.  She doesn't look much like the original guy, that's for sure!  I added some flare to the eyes, added a mouth and some whiskers that I made from my plastic cartridge cover!  I had to add some bling to be the ring.  (Of course silly, it's our anniversary!) 

I made two tags from pieces of paper and cutting the ends in a V and adding stickers from my stash.   The hearts were some chipboard pieces that I have had forever. 

The black banner is a left over negative from an image I cut from Paper Trimmings.  I don't know about you, but I always save the negatives from border cuts.  They come in so handy! I just added bling and a piece of ribbon to the top.

Paper is Making Memories and card stock from Stampin Up!

I used card bases that I got from Joann's.  They are no way near as good as the Reflections brand you can get at Michaels.  They are much thinner, and well, "cheap" in my opinion.  I had to add a layer to the inside to ensure it would stand up properly.  Bummer.   I hate to waste them, so I'm stuck using them!

Well, it has taken awhile, but I finally have time to post my husband's birthday card.  It was so much fun giving him this card!  Revenge is so sweet!  I'm sure I'll never get a Sympathy card for another birthday again!  What made it worse for him was I waited to give it to him at his party!  Bwahahaha!

This whole process was sprung from the "getting even" board listed above.  I bought the Life is a Party cartridge specifically for the buzzard.  How better to say, "I love you" than with a buzzard?  lol!  The box to hold the card is on the left-hand side - made from the same cartridge.  It was posted on the blog earlier.  The right is the front of the card.  I used the Cuttlebug to add dimension to his wings.  Love, love, love the vulture! 

The card could not just be a "regular" card.  it had to be multidimensional!  After all, it is his BIG 4-0!

The tree branch is from Pagoda.  I printed "Caution:  The vultures are circling!" several times on my computer then printed it off.  I tore it apart, smudged the edges with Vintage ink.  I then took washi tape to fill in the gaps.  (I so love washi tape!)

Then I took wings from Gypsy Wandering and added them to a clock piece I had already cut out from some paper/project some time ago.  The mummy is from Happy Hauntings.  Since time seems to be moving rapidly and we always seem to be chasing it, I felt it was a perfect reminder to my hubby that it's getting away from him.  (smirk)  I added a hand to hold him back.  Hehehe.  I added some left over "wrought iron" for the bottom.  I then used stickers and rub-ons for the wording and embellishments.  The designer paper is from Making Memories.  

Then, since he was "oh so kind" to me, I felt it was fair play to call him an "old man".  The old man is from Mini Monsters cartridge.  The cake is from Life is a Party.  I simply didn't add all of  the layers.  I love how it looks lopsided.  I assumed it was due to all of the candles!  Hahaha!

I like how his hair is "salt and pepper"... just like my hubby's!  Again, I used stickers for the lettering.  I have so many alphabet stickers and things I must try to use some!  Paper is again Making Memories, but I stamped a Stampin' Up wood grain on it.  It looks more rustic now.

The back page is just more Making Memories paper that I distressed, and washi tape.  I wanted it to blend a bit better to the front of the card when the card was open.   It was such a good buy at their warehouse sale!

OCS = BINGO Challenge

I made this card for the One Crazy Stamper Blog Challenge called "Bingo".  I have never done a challenge with them.  In fact, I haven't really been doing any challenges with anyone.  I decided it was time!

You have to make a "BINGO" somewhere on the card.  For me this one was a no-brainer.  I love the black and pink combo, lace and of course Polka Dots! 

I used the Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge for the iron frame.  The image fits in it perfectly! Making Memories and Bazzill papers.  The images are from Pink Cat Studio - Sick Lily.  I love her bunny slippers!  I colored her with Copics.  I think I should have used my glasses!  I thought about embellishing it more with flowers, etc.  but I wanted to focus to stay where it was.  There is a lot going on visually in this card.    This was a very fast and fun card to make!

It's great combining different techniques like stamping and die/machine cuts.  The possibilities are endless!

The Big 4-0!

My darling husband figured that he would get me a sympathy card for my birthday.  What the heck?  Rotter!    He thought it was quite funny.  So, I'm in process of getting even with him!  This is the  box that I have made to hold his card.  Yes, it is the shape of a coffin.  So is the card!  The card will be several layers, so I'll post it when I get them all done.  I think I may even try a video.  Not too sure how to post one. 

The coffin, skull, words and coffin all came from the Life is a Party Cricut cartridge.   I really like this cartridge.  It has a lot of fun images on it.  The star rosette came from Ribbon & Rosettes.  It's made from an absolutely stunning paper from Bo Bunny.  You can not see the paper well here, but irl it is amazing!

Yep, I love getting even!  Wait to you see the card!  lol!

A New Begging

I decided to take the left over papers from yesterday and make another card.  The girl I will be giving this to did not pass her exams on the first try.  It broke her heart. 

I used the same carts again too!  I used Elegant Edges for the mats.  It's absolutely the perfect cartridge for that!  I used Give a Hoot for the owl.  It's fun to use carts you haven't used in awhile! 

I flipped some of the papers over and you are now seeing the side B of them.  Instead of cutting out more zigzags, I used the cut out portion from the ones I just made and used it as a mask and smooshed distress ink through them.  Same twine and another sticker from the same K&Co. package.

I don't think I have ever done this type of thing before.  It went quite quickly.  I may have to do this more often!

Today looks so much brighter!  Crafting really is good for the soul!

I can tell I haven't been crafting recently and it shows.  It almost always takes me a long time to make a card, but this was a crazy amount of time!  So rusty!

Vintage Charm Swap

Wow, it's been a couple of weeks since I posted!  Yikes!  I guess the wedding and then watching my grand kids kept me tied up!  Well, what an awesome way to be tied up!

These charms are for a swap on the Cricut RAK & Swap message board.  I have two partners, both wanted a vintage theme.  I made an "Oops" in that I didn't realize one wanted a vintage/sewing theme and the other a vintage/wings theme.  Since I didn't notice it until after I started, I combined the two themes and came up with these.  I think they look great and I hope my partners are okay with the amalgamation.

I have not joined a lot of swaps yet due to working so much, but these charm swaps have "charmed" me!  lol!  I love them.  I haven't the foggiest what I will do with the ones I get back, but I love seeing what each lady comes up with. 

I made the tag and all of its pieces with my Cricut.  The tag is from A Child's Year.  The dress form was made from French Manor.  The silhouette is from Heritage and the oval behind it is from George.  The spool is from Happily Ever After.  It was so much fun using my Cricut again!  The poor thing has been sadly neglected! 

These things could be made with Sizzix or another cutter if you don't have a Cricut. 

I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo around the edges of everything and his tiny attacher to secure the ribbon.  I also used his paper tape to add a bit of dimension.   I layered the silhouette picture and then took glossy accents to secure the acetate on.  I realized you can't add too much on these because they will be covered by the charms and the charms could wreck them!

Of course I still have not mastered the camera.  One day!

Topiary, Topiary, oi, oi, oi!

My daughter showed me a picture of a round ball with paper flowers on it and asked if I could make it.  I said, "sure".  What she didn't tell me at the time was she wanted 10 of them and the wedding was only a couple of weeks away!  I was working full-time to boot!  Yikes!  Silly girl thought she could hand punch these flowers!  I told her absolutely no way on God's green earth would I do that.  There are too many flowers to cut! (3280 to be percise!)  Can you imagine cutting that many out by hand?  I think not!  We only ended up with 9 as with such short notice, we simply could not find enough of the same beads!  She figured I could "whip them up in an afternoon"!  She helped for a bit and then, after a couple of hours, decided it was too much work! 

The flowers are from Mother's Day Boutique.  The viny images are from MS Elegant Cake (Yes, yes, I know I use that cart a lot!) and Paper Trimmings cartridges.  Some bling, ribbon, lots of spray paint, spanish mosh, a zillion hours later and tada!  They are done! *huff*  *puff*  Just in the knick of time!  I got them done last night and the wedding is tomorrow!

 

The purple flowers were cut at 1.1" and the white ones were cut at 1" and all of them had to be curled!  My trusty Cake tool worked for that!

Shower Card

Not your typical shower card, but I like how it turned out.  My daughter is getting married tomorrow.  This is the card I made for her stagette.  I didn't give her a traditional shower gift either.  I got her jewellery to wear for her wedding.  She and her fiance have been together for about 10 years.  It's about darn time they got married!  lol!

Sorry, no Cricut this time!

I have recently taken a shine to 6x6 paper pads.  I have recently purchased about six of them.  I think they work great for cards.  I used BoBunny Garden Girl here.  Making Memories woven labels, words and the wonderful journaling tag that I wove twine through.  The hour glass is from Glitz.  The fabric "celebrate" tag is from Basic Grey.

Father's Day

I recently purchased a bunch of paper and things from Making Memories during their warehouse sale.  If you have never managed to buy from them during their sale, you need to catch it!  It was my first time being able to catch the sale.  A wonderful person on the Cricut site enabled me by posting about the sale.  So glad she did!

 I will soon be doing a video and a give away with some of the paper that I got!

So this card is the card I made with Making Memories paper Toil & Trouble.  It made such a lovely masculine card!

I used Nifty Fifties to cut out the music record in the middle.  Luckily, he is old enough to know what a record is.  Lol!   The card stock is from Bazzill and SU!  The words are rob-ons from a Swatch Book from Creative Imaginations.  I used some rub-ons on the inside from Making Memories as well. Some Washi tapes to add a little interest.  The celebrate metal embellishment was out of its package, so I'm not positive if it is MM or not.  Add some twine and it's done!

Twine Jar

I decorated this jar to hold extra embellishments.  It was inspired by the Cricut Circle Blog weekly challenge.  I have been looking at this jar for awhile wanting to use it.  I used twine and tiny glass beads to cover the jar.   I used Cindy Loo for the tag.  K&Co. flowers for the top.  I really like how it turned out!

Thinking of You

I made this card for my nephew who's dad suddenly died.  It is also for the Cricut Circle Blog challenge: Something old, something new.

I used Lyrical Letters (How is that for really old?!) and Ornamental Iron -fairly new, but not brand-spanking new! I kept it monochromatic in blue - his favorite color.  I added glitter to the wording to give it a little extra pop.

Before & After

I had this old, beaten up radio stand that I wanted to use.  It works great for storing hats, mitts, etc. in at our house.  I just took the color scheme that was in the fabric and went with those.  I had to do a bit more clean up on the fabric as I didn't realize it was still messy!  I didn't change the handles, I just spray painted them too!  Ah, the beauty of paint! 

I am still contemplating making a stencil and doing something to the top of the stand.  I'll have to take out my Cricut books and see what might work the best, make a paper copy and go from there.  I think just getting this this far is good!

Mom

I used Mother's Day Boutique cartridge for all of the flowers - a flat one and a rolled one and put them together.  I inked the edges and added glimmer mist.  I added some little white flowers and added pearls to the centers to make it look more like a bouquet and add interest .   I cut out the scalloped border at the bottom from MS Elegant Cakes (welded with my Gypsy of course!).  The different leaves are from Cricut Essentials . I should say that I "think" they are because these were in my stash and I have also used the centers of leaves for them as well from another cart.)  I used a little black paint to add to the splashed look of paint in the picture.  7Gypsies ribbon tape and Tim Holtz paper tape.  I went to add something to the bottom, but I found it was too distracting and took away from the focal picture.  The frames in the upper right corner of the picture are from Glitz.   A few extra buttons, a saying from my stash and voila!  I am done!

Rescued!

I've been "out of commission" for the past month - first my computer, then my camera!  I have made several projects, but posting was impossible.  My camera is still acting up, but the picture is a bit blury, but at least it gives you an idea of what I did. Now, blogger has changed and I have to figure this all out!  Crazy!

At the water slide, my daughter spent a lot of time rescuing the dragonflies.  They got wet and then couldn't fly.  Many died until she arrived.  She dried them out in the sun and then they were able to fly away!  She was very proud of herself!

This was one of the fastest layouts I have ever done.  I saw the bright colors in the picture and literally walked over to my paper stash and picked them up!  I found some K&Co.  dragonflies and flowers.  They were not the right color, but me and my lovely markers (copics this time) saved the day again!   I used almost the entire package.  The main piece of paper is Junkitz, but I don't know who made the other piece of paper.  I painted some of the wavy lines with black paint.  Funny thing is, I didn't realize until after I painted them that my daughter's bathing suit was black with colored waves!  duh!  lol!  I pulled the stickers/sayings from my partially used labels basket. I liked how the second piece of paper also have sew stitches.  These outlined the picture naturally.   I went to sew on the left border to match the ones already on the paper, but alas, my sewing machine decided it wouldn't work for me either!  Well, at least that is three, so I shouldn't have any more electronic gizmos driving me crazy!  I used the roll on zigzag stitch by DaisyD.  It looks pretty good!  Way easier than the machine any old day!  Ha!  to my sewing machine!  lol!

Pretty in Pink

This is a scrapbook page of my daughter when she was younger.  I used a hodge podge of items to accessorize the page.  The words, except pink were a K & Co. set that I colored with a sharpie.  Sharpies are great things.  Easy to change things to the colors you like with them!  I used Rock Princess Cricut cartridge for the skulls along the bottom.  My daughter loved it!  I used some strips of tape to blend things together.  It is such a little bit of a thing, but it sure works to bring elements together!  Everything I used came from what I had.  Some of these items are really old! 

Arrrgh!

Sorry that I have been MIA!  My computer was not working and I was not able to post. 

I made these for my grand son's birthday party.  I used the Imagine Buccaneer cart.  I also put a ship and a sea captain on the birthday bag I bought to put the items into.  For the card, I used all DCWV papers.  I used an EK Success  punch for the trim.  I cut the feather off of the bird's hat and added a real one.  My little guy loves feathers!  I used a Sizzix texture place to emboss the circles on the purple paper.  It made a huge difference to the card!  The card is only the purple part.  It is sitting on the envelope it will go inside. 

There will be 5 girls and 7 boys at the part.  I like how the color of paper used changed the way they looked on the outside!  "New" chests for the girls and "Antique" for the boys.  Easy to tell from the outside and the inside which is for which!  I used adhesive velcro dots to keep the lids closed.  There are brads to make them look a little nicer.  I didn't like the paper handles either, so I took some braided cord with gold running through it and added those instead.  I think they turned out great.   My daughter was happy with them and grand kids were happy with them and that is what it's all about!

There was a serious learning curve for these boxes for me!  As there are no instructions, I didn't realize how much scoring was needed!  It is very time consuming.  It is also a bit of a challenge to keep all of the little tabs on the chest top where they need to be while waiting for the glue.  There is also a defect in the carts printing/cutting.  On the one side of the chest the handle inserts are way out of level!  The one side is perfect, but the second side you will have to cut a hole for the handle.  Well, I should say if you are OCD like me!  lol!

Fairy "Ugly" Papers

My mother was looking at my papers the other day.  She loved most of them, but then saw this one pack by K&Company that she just didn't like at all.  I told her almost anything can look good if you just take the time to work with it.  Here are two cards that I made to show my mother how nice "ugly" paper can be.

This first one has a fairy from the Tinker Bell cart.  I was fortunate enough to not have to make this myself.  I received her in a swap that I recently was part of.  Cricut_crazy_lady gave it to me.  Her colors matched perfectly with the paper!  The tag is a Sizzix cut.   The wood flower, I believe is from Kaiser crafts.

This second one I colored the fairy - Baby Fairy Flora by Mo Manning and put her on an Elegant Edges mat.   I used the same papers on it. 

I like how they both turned out.  So did my mother!  Once I started to use the papers, I liked them!

Sorry bloggers that I have been MIA.  I assure you I have been busy working and crafting too!  I will try to get several postings done this week to show you what I have been up to. 

Here is a layout that I did awhile ago of my daughter at Halloween.  I want to post more layouts as people have asked to see more.   The layout is simple, but I wanted to ensure the focus remained where it needed to be.  I used Martha Stewart Elegant Cakes for the font and Mother's Day Bouquet for the flowers.  I found beads on a string at my local dollar store. My mother thought I was crazy when I bought them, but decided she would buy some too figuring that if I came up with an idea for them she wanted in!  lol! 

My daughter looked really good that day.  Her dad worked a lot of hours getting her shirt done.  It had wires on it that lit up like Quorra of Tron.  It was no easy task finding that thin light tubing!  She had a power pack that she turned on.  In these pictures you can not see the glow.  I did her hair and makeup.  She got a ton of compliments, mostly by boys because they knew who Quorra was and were very impressed that she did too, and that she glowed!  The girls loved her hair and make up.  Go figure!  lol!  She loved how she looked and had a little strut that day!  She was disappointed that the only close up of her face was the one that she decided not to smile!

Love You A Latte

I made this card for my husband just to let him know I love him.  He remarked that I  even "made it a large!"  The colors were chosen to match his TOGO mug.  I used Love You a Latte and Paper Trimmings for the strip along the bottom.  They looked like little drops of coffee to me.  I had the orange flower border that I added a few rhinestones to.  The "love, you, a" were letters in my stash.  They, like the flowers are flocked.  There is orange polka dot paper and then I put polka dots on the outside base.  Love polka dots!  A couple of staples for a  little more masculinity and we are done!

Valentine's Day Card

Yes, another Valentine's Day card!  lol!  I made this card for my husband.  It uses Pop-Up Neighborhood for the plane and Create a Critter for the clouds.  I did some hand stitching along the matt and then added some polka dots.
