A Fun Birthday!

I made these for my grand daughter for her birthday.  She wanted something a little funky, with tye-dye.  The telephone is made from an SVGcuts.com file.  The flower is a "freebie of the week" cut from Cricut.  The images on the card are also Cricut.

It's so nice being able to easily combine svgs and carts!

Jump Right In!

I used another Kadoodlebug Designs for this birthday card.  It's from the spooky cuties set.    I am having so much fun with this new Explore!  I can't believe how tiny the pieces can be that it can cut!   I used the writing feature to do the sentiment on the inside of the card.  Lots of fun!

Meow - Happy Birthday

I made this cute little cat using my Silhouette and an image from their store.   There were three cats in the image for 50cents.  They remind me of my grandmother, so I certainly could not leave them there without purchasing them!  lol!  I bought a lot of images when they had their 50% off sale at Christmas.  Sweet deals!

Some K & Co paper and trim.  The tag was made from a Stampin' Up punch and a Sizzix tag sizzlit.  They make about 4 different tags each.  Quick and simple.  

Penny Black Birthday Card

I have begun my mission to ensure everyone has a Birthday card this year!  I make cards for everyone in the office and try to get them out to others as well. 

I used my Silhouette to cut out the scalloped circles.   You can also use your Cricut or Spell binders.  I just happened to be playing with the silhouette.  I then layered the circles and cut off the edge.  I then added the punched pieces from the corner piece (E K Success) onto the edge of the circles.  The edges of the paper were distressed.  I tend to use the CTMH one that I bought some time ago.  It still works great, so I keep using it!  The little girl was colored with copics and her dress was cut out of the background paper and layered for more dimension.  The flowers are from K&Co and the leaves are cut with my Cricut.  I always mass produce these beauties.  I love them!  Some prima flowers, and bling.  The twine was colored using a marker as I didn't have anything in the color I wanted.  Thank God for markers and ink pads!  I used Tim Holtz tiny attacher to add a more rustic look.

It's a Girl!

One of my colleagues is having a baby girl.  It was her last day at work and we had a mini going away for her.  This is the card I made for her.

I used Cricut carts:  Pop Up Neighborhood for the buggy, Elegant Edges for the matt and Birthday Bash for the banner.  I used the cupcake Cuttlebug folder to add dimension to the matt.  The paper is Webster's Pages petite papers,  and Stampin' Up card stock.  I added bling, a Maya Road bow, brads, ribbon, twine, puffy and bubble alphabets. 


This was a very quick card to make.  Very fun and very well received!

iPad Cover

I was playing in CCR this morning.  I am really beginning to enjoy that program immensely!  Totally love the search right in the program!  It also lets you know which cart you got the image from.  I was just wandering through my carts and grabbed a bunch of images. Just a right click and viola! you can see where it came from!  (I am infamous for not remembering where I got something!)

 Now, I really like black things because they hide dirt really well! lol! besides, they just look classy! What I don't like about black is I can't see it very well.  If it is black sitting in the shade, on something else black, etc.  I can't see it.  So, what better way to fix that than with my Cricut?!  (You can use your Silhouette if you have one to make a different image, if you like.)  It's not the cutter, nor the image that matters here, it's just the concept!

Have I ever said how much I like vinyl?  OMG that stuff is the bomb!  It's great, because if you get tired of what you have, you can always change it later, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!  I really want to get some printable vinyl so I can use my stamps and Silhouette.  I have used vinyl on so many project in my house, on my car, at work...  Okay, I digress. 

Without even more ado, here is my project.

The image is from home decor.  I just added some extra embellishments and it was a fast and easy project!  I had no intention of doing this project this morning, I was just searching through CCR and thought what a nice bird this was.   It just came together in a matter of minutes.  No-one will be able to say they picked up my iPad by mistake now!

Now go surprise yourself and make a quick vinyl project!  Fast, fun and easy!
